We're Lindsey and David Mackie. We create distinctive sounds. Memorable musical arrangements back rich, textured vocals, telling unusual and unsettling stories with atmospheric and soulful instrumentation. However smooth the music might seem, there's often something more subversive under the surface.
Reviewers have compared us to Kate Bush, Radiohead, Lana Del Rey and Fleetwood Mac, suggesting genres such as Art Rock, Alt Rock, Adult Contemporary, Prog Rock and Dream Pop.
We play all of the instruments between us. Lindsey (Piano/Keys) takes full writing credits while Dave (Guitars/Drums/Bass) focuses on production, mixing and mastering.
